E turns 7!

E spent half the year dreaming and planning her birthday party! First she wanted a formal ball, where people would dress up in fancy clothes and dance on the roof. As we began to experience the summer heat, that plan got quickly dropped. Then she wanted a big party at a place like "chuck e. cheese" at a mall. Then she wanted to go to another mall that had bigger rides. What actually happened was more spontaneous and more of a compromise with mommy though, as things turn out sometimes!
She had one party that was more of a playdate turned into a party and ended up at pizza hut with some good friends. Then another party that became a fun joint party with one of her best friends who has a birthday a couple days before hers. The two girls had a blast decorating, E spent weeks coming up with handmade decorations, including a pin the tail on the elephant and she got her wish, a lemon bar cake instead of a "cake" cake. The last picture is of Jacob as he has turned 2 months old! He is in his 95th percentile for weight, but only 25% for height... making him short and chubby, but very cute.
